Prepress and Image Capture | ||||||||||||
All jobs start with our Prepress Department. All artwork that is to be reproduced must go through an”image capture” process. Original artwork such as a painting will be captured digitally with our high resolution digital camera. Supplied transparencies will be scanned using our high resolution scanner. It is our Prepress departments responsibility to make sure all images are edited, cleaned up, touched up and color corrected to our high standards before the client see's the first proof. At Renaissancce Imaging we use a closed loop color management system starting with image capture and progressing downstream on the job cycle to the final printed product. What this means to you is consistent and predictable color print results over and over, so you can rest assure that the first print you see will look exactly like the last. Once our prepress personnel have prepared your image the final step is a color proof before the job is printed. Customer sign off on color proofs is mandatory for all art reproductions, each person sees color differently and the artist is the one who know’s their work best.
