| Printing client approved jobs is not just putting paper on ink. This is matching ink to paper to printer. We have carefully chosen our printers and their ink along with media that will perform consistently now and in the future. Our Inks our Pigment based which insures lightfastness and our fine art papers and canvas are all approved for fine art reproductions with qualities that include being acid free, and water resistent. - How does Giclee prints differ from traditional prints?
- Giclee printmaking utilizes an imaging technology that allows prints to be made with a continous tone in contrast with traditional offset printing where the dot pattern is detectable to the unaided eye. Traditional offset printing also has a smaller color gamut which makes it harder to match color and limitations to stocks that can be used for prints. The Giclee method in turn has a much larger color gamut for matching color and the media available has a larger variety to match the original artwork. The results are the closest reproductions you can get to the original
